YELLOW BIKE PROJECT

We're happy to be involved with the Yellow Bike Project, a program which reduces the number of bikes  in our city landfill, provides the citizens of New Braunfels with free human-powered transportation, and promotes a healthy way to explore our local parks, neighborhoods, and downtown areas.  Contact us if you would like to assist in our activities, which include picking up or dropping off donated bikes, and assisting with cleaning and/or repairing bikes.  Click here for pictures of our bikes around town!  For more information, contact Brandon Wilcox.

The Roots and Shoots Program, founded by Dr. Jane Goodall, inspires youth of all ages to make positive changes happen -- in the community, for the environment, and for animals.  With groups in almost 100 countries, children and adults come together to plan and implement service-learning projects.  To learn more, see the Roots & Shoots and the Jane Goodall Institute websites.
