| These photos were taken from a guided tour we took to Honey
Creek Preserve. It was an opportunity for us to experience what a pristine area

| Tree Planting at St. Jude's |
| These photos were taken at St. Jude's Ranch for Children.
We planted three trees which were donated to us by David Will with the help of our
children and a few children currently residing there, and the Roots and Shoots dads!
In addition, we made bird feeders with the children, using pine cones, shortening,
birdseed and dried fruit. Click on image for larger view. |
| Kendalia Wildlife Refuge |
| These pictures were taken at the Kendalia Wildlife Refuge,
where we helped by doing laundry, scrubbing cages, washing dishes, and making enrichment
for the monkeys and bears. Enrichment is novel foods such as Cheerios, jam and
peanut butter. Providing enrichment periodically helps to keep life interesting. Click on image for larger view. |
